SACHER, Harold SACHER Harold Frank Sacher, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at St. Michael’s Health Centre on November 30, 2025, at the age of 94 years. Harold was preceded in death by his wife Joyce Sacher; his two brothers, Clarence Sacher and Donald (Pat) Sacher; his sisters, Florence (Wilf) Risvold and Dorothy (Morris) Miller; his son-in-law Jose Quiroga and his grandson, Cory Nash. He is also preceded in death by his parents William and Christine Sacher.
Harry, or Grandpa, or Grampy, as he was affectionately known to his family, friends and especially grand-children was born February 12, 1931 in Lampman, Sask. and lived his early years on the family farm in Browning, Sask. His memories of the farm would linger with him into his late years. Especially his time travelling Canada with his prized jumping horse, Blackie. After moving to Winnipeg, Harold was employed at Canadian National Railway as a Journeyman Welder, Boilermaker and Pipefitter. One of his proudest projects was the re-building of a CNR locomotive after a catastrophic accident, supervising up to 80 workers and thus saving the Railway millions of dollars. Many family memories are centered around the cottage in Kenora, Ontario and this treasured place has a large place in many family and friends hearts. He also enjoyed many hobbies such as golf, fishing and playing crib. After retiring at the age of 60, Harold and Joyce moved west to be closer to family.
Harold is survived by his children Darlene (Jose) Quiroga and Gary Sacher, daughter-in-law Angela Sacher and son-in-law Geoffrey Nash. He was also grandfather to Desiree Esslinger and Kristi Nash and great-grandfather to Gabriel and Olivia Vanderwall-Nash, Franklin and Everett Esslinger. He also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. Harold will be “Always Remembered, Never Forgotten.”
Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m Friday, December 12, 2025 at Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge, Alberta with Pastor Ralph officiating. There will be a brief viewing from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to the service and burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Lethbridge.
Harold’s family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

VANDENBERG, Gerald GERALD JOHN VANDENBERG December 25, 1973 – November 29, 2025 Gerald John Vandenberg, of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Amanda Vandenberg, passed away suddenly at Chinook Regional Hospital on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the age of 51 years.
Gerald is survived by his loving wife Amanda, his daughter Katie, sons Trevor and Nick; sisters Brenda Van Schothorst, Geraldine Van Esch, Evelyn Klok, and Petula Bloemert; and his brothers Henk, Rex, Elbert, and Tony.
Gerald was born in Picture Butte to Henry & Gerry Vandenberg. He attended Calvin Christian School before he began his 35+ year career as a truck driver. As a young man, Gerald participated in several hobbies including motocross, working with horses, and he enjoyed working on his family farm. He married his best friend, Amanda, in 2001 and started their family with the birth of their first son, Trevor. Soon after, Nick and then Katie were born.
Gerald enjoyed traveling and doing family activities like camping, boating, quadding, or anything with his kids. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Gerald is predeceased by his parents Henry & Gerry Vandenberg, brother-in-law Peter Klok, and sister Patricia Klok.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 5:00pm and 8:00pm on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 ST S, LETHBRIDGE.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, December 5, 2025, at NOBLEFORD COMMUNITY HALL, 122 KIPP ST, NOBLEFORD, with Dr. Bruce Martin officiating.
Interment will follow at Archmount Cemetery.

TYMENSEN, Bill TYMENSEN BILL TYMENSEN, of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mynra Tymensen, passed away peacefully, with family by his side at the St. Michael’s Health Centre – Palliative Care Unit, on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at the age of 94 years.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2405 12 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 2:30 P.M. with Father Kevin Tumback celebrating.

HRANAC, Darlene DARLENE HRANAC 1937 ~ 2025 Darlene Lenore Hranac, of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Ed Hranac, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025, at the age of 88 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her friends and family.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 ST. S, LETHBRIDGE, AB.
Interment will take place at MOUNTAIN VIEW CEMETERY following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial donations in Darlene’s name made to the Alzheimers Society of Alberta. Alternatively, those who wish may plant a tree in her memory.
