VIROSTEK, Blaine VIROSTEK We are saddened to announce the passing of Blaine Virostek on November 10, 2025.
Raised on the farm in Enchant, he never lost his love for open blue skies, yellow autumn fields and cattle. His memory lives on through his wife, Pat, brothers Kevin, Darcy (Deb), Sheldon (Geri), sister-in-law Leslie, Bev (Brent) and Pat’s stepmom Terry, and nieces and nephews. Those who knew him always received a huge handshake, hugs, loving smile and engaging laugh.
A Celebration of Life will be held May 2, 2026 2pm at Davisburg Hall. 258117-96 St East Foothills.

BRAND, Bradley BRADLEY NORMAN BRAND September 5, 1972 – November 21, 2025 Bradley Norman Brand, 53, passed away suddenly on November 21, 2025. Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Brad built a life rooted in hard work, meaningful connections, and a wonderful sense of humor. Anyone who knew him would say he was the best chef around – whether it was BBQ, smoking, baking, or anything in between, he could make it. He especially loved hosting gatherings surrounded by family and friends. He took great pride in keeping his yard beautifully maintained and had a deep love of travel and sports, especially the Edmonton Oilers, the Saskatchewan Roughriders, and the Toronto Blue Jays.
He was proudly employed with Federated Co-op in Saskatoon, where he truly found his dream job. Brad cherished the people he worked with, and he was known throughout the workplace as both a trusted mentor and the go-to jokester. His one-liners, quick smile, and steady support made a lasting impact on countless colleagues and friends.
Brad is survived by his loving wife, Shauna Brand of 29 years, and his daughters, Raeanna Brand (27) and Taylor Brand (25) of Martensville, SK. He is also survived by his parents, Harold and Donna Brand of Saskatoon, SK, and his sister, Carrie Campagna of BC; mother-in-law Marilyn Braun of Swift Current, SK, brother-in-law Tim (Sharon) Braun of Saskatoon, SK., brother-in-law Trevor (Erin) Braun of Swift Current, SK., and numerous nieces and nephews.
Honoring Brad’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. A small, private celebration of life with immediate family and friends will be held later in the summer.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in Brad’s memory.

AIMOTO, Yoshio “Yosh” YOSHIO “YOSH” AIMOTO November 26, 1942 – December 2, 2025 It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Yosh Aimoto. Yosh grew up in the Bassano area. After he married Susan, they settled in Claresholm and raised their family. On retirement, Yosh and Susan resided in Coaldale for the past 11 years. Yosh enjoyed outdoor activities and spending time in his garden. He especially treasured his time spent with his grandchildren. Yosh is survived by his wife Susan, Daughter Tina/Bill Hamilton, Son Rodney/Tina Aimoto, Grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and sisters Mary and Rose. Yosh was preceded by his parents, brothers and one sister.
At Yosh’s request there will be no formal funeral.

CONNERS, Charles CHARLES SYDNEY CONNERS 1952 – 2025 Mr. Charles Sydney Conners, of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Marie Conners, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Chinook Regional Hospital at the age of 73 years.

MULLIN, Ronald MULLIN It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, RONALD MAURICE MULLIN on Friday, November 28, 2025 at the Chinook Regional Hospital, Lethbridge, Alberta, at the age of 78.
Ron was deeply loved and will be sadly missed by his wife, Norma and their children Mark (Georgia) Mullin of Edmonton and Holly (Scott) Melvin of Lethbridge, and his cherished grandchildren Reid, Evan and Ayla Mullin of Edmonton and Isla and Beckett Melvin of Lethbridge, as well as his brother and sister-in-law Bruce and Lois Strinholm, of Calgary, and his sister and brother-in-law Barbara and Gerald Porter of Kinistino, Saskatchewan and many nieces and nephews.
Ron was born March 18, 1947 in Lafleche, Saskatchewan. He grew up in the Glentworth district and attended school in Glentworth. After graduating high school, he went on to attend Mount Royal College in Calgary where his broadcasting career was born. His work took him to many communities across Saskatchewan, before he eventually settled in Lethbridge where he developed a deep love for Southern Alberta.
Ron was predeceased by his parents Gerald and Winnie Mullin, his sister Sharon Pope Landry, brother-in-law Art Landry, mother and father-in-law Hildred and Wilfred Strinholm, sister-in-law Jeri Klassen, and brother-in-law Les Klassen.
Ron loved many things…mostly old cars, fishing and camping. One of his greatest delights was taking his mother-in-law camping and fishing with him and Mark and listening to the two of them argue the day away. He also loved dogs! In his final weeks all he wanted to do was go home…and pick up a new puppy on the way.
Ron was also a grateful member of Alcoholics Anonymous and would have celebrate 48 years of sobriety on January 18, 2026. As he would say…. it’s been a long time between drinks.
Special thanks are given to Dr. Plotnyk, Dr. Saleh, and all the staff on 3B at the Chinook Regional Hospital.
A Celebration of Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB on Friday, December 12, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. with Patrick Siedlecki officiating.

COMSTOCK, Robert “Bob” COMSTOCK ROBERT “BOB” COMSTOCK, of Lethbridge, AB, beloved husband of Caroline Comstock, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, November 28, 2025, at the age of 98 years.
A Viewing will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 – 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at 6:00 P.M., with a Prayer Service to follow at 7:00 P.M.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2405 – 12 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB, on Monday, December 8, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. with Father Kevin Tumback celebrating. The Funeral Mass will be live-streamed and may be viewed through Bob’s obituary on the Cornerstone website.
Bob will be laid to rest in Mountain View Cemetery.

RAE, Judith “Judie” RAE It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of JUDITH (Judie) RAE, on Monday, December 1, 2025 at the age of 73.
Judie called Lethbridge home for the last 15 years and spent that time making a big impact in her community. For the last 10 years she volunteered at the Chinook Regional Hospital Gift Shop where she loved interacting with everyone she met and infusing a bit of joy into their day. She also spent the last few years volunteering at the Nord-Bridge Senior Centre where she met many wonderful people and made many treasured friends. She was a very avid participant in her Church life serving in many areas from childcare to leading Bible Studies and small groups. Judie loved the Lord and she served Him faithfully every day. She loved her family and loved being “Grams” to her grandchildren.
Judie was predeceased by both her parents and more recently, by her loving husband, Steve, of 49 years.
She will be greatly missed by her two sons Ryan (Kendra) and Michael (Stephanie), her six grandchildren, Isabel, Bronwyn, Gillian, Drakkar, Surge, and Mason, her brother Bill (Lorna) and her sister Debbie (Jack), extended family members, and numerous friends.
We will love you forever.
A Come and Go Reception will be held on Saturday, December 13, from 11am – 2pm, at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825-32 St. S., Lethbridge, for family and friends.

BRUGOS, Joseph “Joe” BRUGOS JOSEPH “JOE” BRUGOS JR. passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 30, 2025, at the age of 73.
Born on May 31, 1952, in Lethbridge, Joe Jr. built his life around travelling, construction, and trucking. He worked as a truck driver, then, a little later, alongside his father and brother at Glen Little Construction. He then followed his brother to Brugos Construction Ltd. A few years later, he transitioned into his trucking career. Recently, Joe settled in Fincastle, Alberta. He was a kind and gentle soul who loved travelling, classic cars, including his truck “Old Blue,” and his family and friends. His infectious laugh was truly one of a kind, something everyone will always remember.
Joe was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Barbara, and his brother Rick.
He is survived by his dear friend Christine Thomas, sister-in-law Kris Brugos, his niece Cathy (Wade) Armstrong, nephew Kevin (Stephanie) Brugos, and his beloved great-niece and nephews: Xander Armstrong, Callie Brugos, and Mason Brugos, as well as numerous relatives and friends.
A Graveside Service will be held at MOUNTAIN VIEW CEMETERY, 1210 Scenic Drive South, Lethbridge, AB, on Friday, December 12, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. with Deacon Jim Manzara officiating.

HRANAC, Darlene DARLENE HRANAC August 11, 1937 – December 1, 2025 It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Darlene Hranac (nee Dancoisne), loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend to many. Darlene left us on Monday, December 1, 2025, at the age of 88 years.
It is with certainty that Darlene sends a special message to the numerous people in her life, both before and during her illness with Alzheimer’s Disease, who have unselfishly shared their gift of love, support and time whether in moments of health or unwellness. A heartfelt thank you from the family to all those who were a part of her very fulfilled life.
Darlene has now joined her beloved husband and best friend Ed, her daughter Starlie Anne, her parents Helen and Glen Dancoisne, and her siblings Lorna Cannon and Robert Dancoisne.
Darlene leaves to mourn and honour her memory her surviving children and their immediate and extended families of Mark (Kelly), Stephanie (Franco), and Kim (Don), plus her surviving brother Dave (Carol), and extended families.
Darlene will also be deeply missed by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friendships that she cherished over many years. She was fortunate to be loved by so many.
A very special thank you to the compassionate staff at Swan Evergreen Village, Providence Care Centre and Health Care Team Unit 36 at the Foothills Hospital, all of Calgary, Alberta.
Please join us for a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 11:00 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4 ST. S, LETHBRIDGE, AB, with internment to follow at the Mountainview Cemetery.
