Churchill Griffins beat Flyers on rugby pitch

LETHBRIDGE
The Winston Churchill Griffins defeated the Fort Macleod F.P. Walshe Flyers 29-17 in Southern Alberta High School Girls Rugby League action in Lethbridge Wednesday.
Abby Neudorf scored twice for the Griffins, with Mihki Lagemaat, Claudia Higginbotham and Christine Villaluna each addign one score. Neudorf also kicked two converts.
The Flyers’ were led by Latoya Healy’s two tries and one from Sam Bassett. Nicole Quinlan kicked a convert. The JV game saw Churchill win 30-0.
