The Lethbridge College Kodiaks were held out of the win column to
start the second half of the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference
season.
In Red Deer to take on the Kings and Queens, the Kodiaks women’s and
men’s teams were each handed 3-0 setbacks.
The women were defeated 16-25, 17-25 and 12-25 and are now 2-11 this
seaon.
The Kodiaks men were handed 22-25, 20-25 and 18-25 losses and are 10-3
and fall into second place behind the 11-4 SAIT Trojans.
In the women’s game, Mack Lewicki had seven kills and nine digs for
the Kodiaks.
Tony Albizzati had eight kills for Lethbridge in the men’s game and
Carter Hansen and Quinn Buchanan each had six.
The teams wrap up the weekend series today. The women’s game is at 1
p.m. and the men go at 3 p.m.
