Scheidegger 2-2 at Alberta Scotties

The Lethbridge’s Casey Scheidegger rink is 2-2 at the Sentinel Storage Alberta Scotties Tournament of Hearts In Okotoks.

Scheidegger and her rink of third Cary-Anne McTaggart, second Susan O’Connor and lead Kristie Moore earned their first win on Day 2 with a 6-4 decision over Nicky Kaufman and improved to 2-2 with a 9-2 victory over Kayla Skrlik in the Thurdsay night draw.

Fellow Lethbridge rink Jodi Vaughan and her quartet of third Jody McNabb, second Nicole Larson and lead Valerie Ekelund were topped 7-4 by Laura Walker Thursday afternoon.

At press time, Vaughan and Krysta Hilker were still playing in the Thursday evening draw.

Scheidegger is back on the ice today at 1 p.m. against Marla Sherrer and at 6:30 p.m. vs. Walker.

Vaughan plays Kelsey Rocque in the 1 p.m. fifth draw and Kaufman at 6:30 p.m.
