STIRLING
The Stirling Lakers girls varsity game won at home in Deep South Basketball Conference play Thursday.
Hosting the Coaldale Kate Andrews Pride, the Lakers notched 48-32 win as Talia Oviatt led Stirling with 14 points.
Hope Adams was the Pride’s leading scorer with eight points.
In the junior varsity game the Pride won 62-40, led by Eve Duerkson’s 20 points. Gwen Newberry hit for 14 points for Kate Andrews.
For the Lakers, Emmy Montague scored 11 points.
