The Lethbridge midget AAA Hurricanes look to even their playoff series
with the Calgary Flames tonight.
The Canes host the Flames in Game 2 of their second-round, best-of-
five Alberta Midget Hockey League series at the Logan Boulet Arena at
7:30 p.m.
The Flames downed the Hurricanes 4-1 in Game 1 Thursday night in
Calgary as Lethbridge tries to make the series go at least four games,

the series-opening win.
Canes goaltender Ty Young stopped 16 shots before Mark Andres came in
midway through the second period, kicking out 27 shots.
Game 3 is back in Calgary at the Father David Bauer Arena on Monday at
7:30 p.m.
If necessary, Game 4 will be Wednesday at the Logan Boulet Arena at
6:45 p.m.
In Alberta Major Bantam Hockey League play Thursday night, the
Lethbridge Val Matteotti bantam AAA Golden Hawks season came to an end.
The Golden Hawks were blanked 4-0 by the Ram South-leading Red Deer
Rebels in Game 2 of the teams’ opening-round, best-of-three series at
Nicholas Sheran Arena.
Golden Hawks goaltender Brenner Fyfe was kept busy, making 46 saves.
Owen Callow scored twice for the Rebels, while Josh Perreault and Nate
