Claresholm’s Logan Biever continues to put up some big rides on the U.S. circuit.
As the only Canadian competing in the Touring Pro Division Major, the southern Alberta bull rider tied for fifth at the PBR Bull Bash in Shipshewana, Indiana last weekend.
Biever, 23, registered his second top-five finish of the season after covering Jason’s Pride for 85.5 points in Round 1 inside the Michiana Event Center.
That gives Biever four more world points to rank him 59th in the world, one position up from 60th at the start of the event.
As the lone rider to deliver a flawless performance in front of the electric crowd, Grayson Cole of New Riggold, Pennsylvania captured his first-ever PBR event win in the Hoosier State.
The 21-year-old got off to a hot start in the opening round, tying for the Round 1 victory. Cole made the eight aboard Outlaw for 88 points, the second-best score of his three-year career with the PBR.
Cole then punctuated his perfect outing with a 69-point score aboard Hillbilly in the championship round.
The PBR Touring Pro Division will next travel to Springdale, Arkansas Friday and Saturday for the Buckin’ in the Ozarks and Livingston, Montana Saturday for the Livingston Classic PBR.
