A pair of Lethbridge golfers tied for third in their division at the Maple Leaf Junior Tour Alberta Series at Desert Blume Golf Club in Medicine Hat Monday and Tuesday.
Spence Matson and Braeden Van Dusen placed tied for third in the Junior Boys division with two-day totals of 153.
Matson shot 80 on Monday and 73 on Tuesday, while Van Dusen carded scores of 78 and 77 on Monday and Tuesday, respectively.
Fellow Lethbridge golfer Alex Nekich placed 10th in the Junior Boys division with a two-day score of 160.
In the Juvenile Boys division, Roan Crowe of Claresholm shot rounds of 80 and 81 to place ninth with a 161.
In the Bantam Boys division, Taber’s Lyndon Kuryvial (72, 78) posted a score of 150 to take third place.
Fellow Taber golfer Mason Kuryvial took fifth place in the Peewee Boys division with a two-day total of 182 (94,88).
Lethbridge’s Tristan Howes was three strokes back with a two-day total of 185 (89, 96) to take sixth.
