The Lethbridge College Kodiaks cross country running team took the starting line at the final Grand Prix race of the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference season.
The Kodiaks men’s and women’s teams laced up at St. Mary’s College in Calgary Saturday for the third Grand Prix of the season with the ACAC championship up next Oct. 30 in Camrose, hosted by the University of Alberta-Augustana Vikings.
In the men’s 8km race, Carter Van Roon came in ninth with a time of 29:04 and Reggie Williams was 13th at 29:38.
Logan Danyluk wasn’t far behind in 16th with a time of 30:36, Cole Hebert placed 22nd (32:01), Justin Fisher came in 26th (32:55) and Jack Bentley took 27th (32:55).
Kodiak Cristobal Catalan crossed the line with a time of 37:38 to place 44th.
In the women’s 6km race, Sydney Crowe and Rosie Bouchard came in 13th and 14th with times of 26:58 and 27:12, respectively.
Marie Boix-Frias was seconds behind in 17th place with a time of 27:20.
