The LCI Rams varsity boys basketball team pulled to 1-1 in the early going of the Southern Alberta High School Basketball League season.
The Rams downed the Catholic Central Cougars 87-73 in league action Thursday night.
The JV Rams also won in a 75-65 decision over the Cougars.
In girls play on Wednesday, the Magrath Pandas improved to 3-0 with an 82-36 win over the LCI Clippers, while the Catholic Central Cougars beat Medicine Hat 63-57.
In the JV games, LCI beat Magrath 66-46 and Medicine hat topped Catholic Central 54-49.
Varsity boys and girls play hit the court Tuesday.
In boys play, the Magrath Zeniths beat Catholic Central 107-76, while the Raymond Comets topped the Chinook Coyotes 93-60.
In JV play, Magrath beat Catholic Central 87-58 and Raymond defeated Chinook 70-32.
In varsity girls play the Pandas beat the Cardston Cougars 74-47 and Taber W.R. Myers topped Chinook 56-47.
The Magrath JV girls beat Cardston 47-33 and Chinook got past W.R. Myers 58-33.
