The Lethbridge Bulls started their six game road trip on the wrong foot with a 10-2 loss to the Moose Jaw Miller Express on Friday night.
The Miller Express had 10 runs on 11 hits and the Bulls had two runs on four hits.
Nick Gravel and Mikey McGinnis went 1-for 4 at the dish, while Kalem Haney and Torrin Vaselenak went 1-for-3.
Haney and Cardel Dick scored the runs for the Bulls in the losing effort.
Nate Mensik went 2-for-4 with two runs and Greyson Barrett went 2-for 3 and scored a run for Moose Jaw to lead the way.
Kole Jessamine pitched three innings and gave up seven runs on the mound for the Bulls.
Ethan Merk pitched six innings of Moose Jaw only allowing a run on four hits and striking out nine batters.
Both teams will battle again tonight in Moose Jawt at 7 p.m.
