Quebec leading the way

Quebec continues to set the pace with a 4-0 record heading into the weekend at the Junior Canadian Little League Championship at Spitz Stadium.

Quebec pummelled Ontario (3-1) 19-1 on Friday and will wrap up round robin play today against Team B.C. at 7 p.m.

Other Friday results include the host Junior Bulls(0-4) losing 9-3 to B.C. (2-2) and Atlantic (3-1) defeating Alberta (1-3) 11-3.

Saturday will also see Alberta play the Junior Bulls at 3:30 p.m. and Atlantic and Ontario begin things at noon.

Semi-finals begin Sunday at 10 a.m. and the final is Monday at 2:30 p.m.
