The Lethbridge Val Matteoti Golden Hawks continued their winning ways up north over the weekend.
The Hawks opened up by edging the Red Deer Rebels 4-3 on Saturday.
Landon Ward, Kutcher Aquila, Lincoln Eaves and Cash Walker scored the Hawks goals in the win.
Dawson Spence and Damen Vandeberg had other notable performances with two assists each.
That performance was followed up by a 7-4 win in Edmonton against CAC on Sunday.
Ward and Cohen Larson led the way with two goals apiece for the Hawks while Vandeberg, Spence and Aquila each scored a goal each.
The Hawks improved to 15-9-0-2-2 with the wins and sit in fifth place in the South Division.
The Golden Hawks have gone 8-2-1 since Jan. 5.
U17AAA
The Headwater Hurricanes split their home games with the Red Deer Chiefs over the weekend.
The Canes opened up with a 1-0 win on Saturday.
Cohen Zasadny scored the lone goal of the game.
The win was followed by a 6-1 loss on Sunday.
Zasadny scored the only goal for Lethbridge in that contest as well.
U18AAA
The U18AAA Hurricanes lost both of their games over the weekend.
Lethbridge lost 7-2 in Calgary to the North Stars on Saturday, followed by a 3-1 loss to the Airdrie Bisons on Sunday at Nicholas Sheran Arena.
Hayden Iron Shirt and Aidyn Law scored in the loss to the North Stars and Briggs Olson scored in the loss to the Bisons.
