The Lethbridge Bulls are a perfect 2-0 to start their five-game road trip after opening up their four-game series in Fort McMurray against the Giants with an 11-2 on Thursday night.
Kalem Haney swung a hot bat on the evening as he went 2-for-4 at the plate with three runs scored and cashing in an RBI.
Tyler Monroe, Bernie Socarras and Josh Kabayama each scored two runs each while Kyle Yip and Jack Kalisky scored a run a piece in the win.
Javier De Alejandro took the win on the bump for the Bulls after pitching a complete game while allowing two runs on 10 hits and striking out six batters.
Both teams will play again tonight in Fort McMurray at 7:05 p.m.
The Bulls began the road trip with a 13-6 win over the Edmonton Prospects on Wednesday night.
Socarras led the way by going 3-of-6 at the plate and scored three runs, followed by Kalisky’s 3-for-4 performance at the plate with two runs scored and two RBIS.
Pitcher George Naramore got the win on the hill for the Bulls after pitching two innings, striking out two and allowing a hit.
