Bulls go undefeated on road trip

The Lethbridge Bulls went a perfect 5-0 on their road trip after finishing it off with two weekend wins in the end of their four game series at the Fort McMurray Giants.

The Bulls concluded the road trip with a 7-2 win on Sunday afternoon.

Lethbridge scored seven runs on nine hits.

Josh Kabayama went 3-for-5 at the plate and scored a run, Bernie Socarras went 2-for 4 with two runs scored and an RBI and Kyle Yip also went 2-for-4 with a run scored.

Scott Hansen cashed in three RBIs on the day and a run scored, while Mikey McGinnis and Ryan David had a run each in the series finale.

Brayden Dewitt pitched a complete game for the Bulls while allowing two runs on seven hits.

The win comes after blanking the Giants 3-0 on Saturday night.

The Bulls scored three runs on four hits.

Socarras, Adonis Bernal and Roberto Chaparro scored the runs for Lethbridge.

Shaye McTavish picked up the win after going four innings, allowing two hits and striking out a batter.

The Bulls (26-15) will put their five game winning streak on the line tonight when they host the West Division-leading Sylvan Lake Gulls, a team they have not beat in six attempts this season.
