Horns open season with ties

The University of Lethbridge Pronghorns men’s soccer team could not muster any offence in a pair of 0-0 ties on the road at Mount Royal and University of Calgary over the weekend.

At Mount Royal, each team had two shots hit the net and the Cougars holding the overall shot total at 9-5.

The Horns had four shots that hit the goal  to U of C’s  three on Sunday.

U of L attempted a total of 13 shot attempts to U of C’s 10.

The Horns will look for the first win and goal when they host MacEwan University on Friday night at 4:30 p.m.
