The Lethbridge Hurricanes lost their third consecutive game after being doubled up 6-3 by the Portland Winterhawks on Friday night in their second of a three game road trip to the U.S. Division.
Brayden Edwards had two goals while Leo Braillard had a goal for the Canes in the loss.
Diego Buttazzoni and Jordan Duguay scored two goals to lead the way, while Tyson Jugnauth and Kyle Chyzowski each had a goal to round out Portland’s offence.
The Canes’ Koen Cleaver and Brady Smith combined to save 34-of-40 Portland shots on the night.
Portland’s goalie, Ondrej Štěbeták, kicked out 31-of-34 Canes shots.
Portland went 2-for-3 while Lethbridge went 0-for-3 on the powerplay.
Lethbridge (12-8-1) will look to salvage a win on this road trip when they take on the Seattle Thunderbirds tonight at 8 p.m.
