The Lethbridge Hurricanes suffered their fifth straight loss after a 4-1 road setback to the Saskatoon Blades on Friday night.

After a scoreless first period, the Blades opened the scoring with two quick goals from Brandon Lisowsky  just 1:21 into the middle frame, followed by Rowan Calvert’s powerplay goal over two minutes later.

Saskatoon added two more goals in the third period to take a 4-0 lead.

Lukas Hansen scored his second of the year at the 6:31 mark, while Zach Olsen scored 22 seconds later.

Canes captain Noah Chadwick got Lethbridge on the board over a minute-and-a-half later to make the score 4-1.

Leo Braillard and Chase Petersen assisted on Chadwick’s goal.

The Canes end their nine games in nine different cities on the road this month tonight in Prince Albert at 6 p.m.
