The Lethbridge Polytechnic Kodiak men’s volleyball team’s aspirations of winning an ACAC Championship fell short in the final on Saturday night at Lakeland College.
The nationally No. 7 ranked Kodiaks (17-2) were defeated in four sets (23-25, 25-22, 16-25,18-25) by the nationally No.1 ranked Red Deer Polytechnic Kings (18-1) and took home silver.
Nolan Moes collected 15 points for the Kodiaks in the championship loss, Marshall Qually went a perfect 3-for-3 on kills/total attempts and had 1.000 kill per centage and Kolhbe Andersen went 8-for-11 with a .545 kill percentage.
Pronghorns
The University of Lethbridge Pronghorn women’s basketball team’s playoff run ended after a 71-46 quarterfinal loss to the University of Alberta Pandas on Saturday night.
Kyra Collier had 11 points in the loss.
