The Lethbridge Bulls are set to host the annual TCMM (Tanner Craswell Mitch Maclean)  Memorial Game and Kids Camp  tonight at Spitz Stadium with a new twist that will bound to add more entertainment to the evening.

The exhibition memorial game  between the Lethbridge Bulls and the Vauxhall Academy Jets will have a banana theme called “TCMM Goes Bananas” which was inspired from the  ever popular Savannah Bananas baseball team ,  who are a part of a Banana Ball league.

“They’ve exploded on to the baseball scene and do special games around North America,” explained Kevin Kvame, Bulls president and general manager.

The Bananas  baseball brand is known for its  fun, entertainment, quickness  and includes a  speciality set of rules.

The Bulls and Jets players will look to replicate that brand.

“We’re not gonna obviously do a show like they can produce at some of these bigger parks,” said Kvame.

Craswell and Maclean were known for their  fun nature  off the field and were all serious on the field in the games.

“We’re going to do the same thing, we’re gonna  have a serious game on the field (and) we’re gonna (have) a lot of fun off the field,” said Kvame.

There will be fun things like music playing, getting to know players through them being mic’d up and dances to name a few things.

The annual Memorial Game  and Kids Camp is honour of Craswell and Maclean, who played for the Bulls and the Vauxhall Academy, and tragically died in 2011 from a murder-suicide along with Tabitha Stepple.

The game starts at  7:05 p.m.
