The Lethbridge Bulls won their third game in a row after defeating the Brooks Bombers 4-1 during Western Canadian Baseball League action at Spitz Stadium on Monday night.
Carter Claerhout got the scoring started with a solo home run in the bottom of the first inning to give the Bulls an early 1-0 lead.
The Bombers Troy Morrow scored on a Seth Reker sacrifice fly in the fourth inning to tie the game at one.
The Bulls took the lead with three runs in the fifth inning.
It was with two outs that Claerhout hit a single and then reached second base on a pitching error, which allowed for Dalen Blanchard to score from third to give the Bulls a 2-1 lead and for Luke Wheatley to advance over to third.
Wheatley then scored on a passed ball while Jack Kalisky was at the plate to make the score 3-1.
Kalisky then a hit a single to score Claerhout for the Bulls fourth run.
Bulls starting pitcher Jacob Hageman was the winning pitcher after allowing a run on seven hits and striking out six batters.
Claerhout had two hits on three plate appearances, while scoring two runs and hitting in three runs.
The Bulls swept their weekend games in Moose Jaw by squeezing our victories against the Miller Express.
Lethbridge edged Moose Jaw 15-14 in a high scoring affair on Sunday afternoon.
Lee Matsuzaki had four hits in six at-bats along with three runs and two runs batted in (RBIs) to pace the Bulls offence.
 Claerhout had three runs as well for the Bulls.
The Bulls scored 15 runs on 18 hits.
Sheamus Ryan got the win for the Bulls after pitching five innings while giving up four runs on six hits, striking out three and walking four batters.
Lethbridge edged the Miller Express 7-5 on Saturday night.
 Wheatley had three hits in four plate appearances, a run scored, and three runs batted in for Lethbridge to lead the way, while Adonis Bernal had two hits and three runs scored.
Levi Abbott pitched six innings, giving up two runs on six hits, struck out six batters and walked a batter to get his record to perfect 5-0 on the season.
The Bulls travel to take on the Okotoks Dawgs tonight.
