The Sylvan Lake Gulls got revenge on the Lethbridge Bulls a night later after losing to them by blanking them 7-0 on Friday night during Western Canadian Baseball League action in Sylvan Lake.
The scoring did not begin until the third inning when the Gulls scored four runs to take a 4-0 lead.
A pair of two-out doubles by Cleary Simpson and Ayden Markarus produced those four runs with runners on base.
Fast forward to the seventh inning when the Gulls added to their lead as Tripp Ray hit a one-out single to cash in Simon Baker to make the score 5-0 Sylvan Lake.
The Gulls made the score 6-0 in the seventh inning when Simpson scored on an error by the third baseman to the first baseman.
A Ray single scored Baker in the eighth inning to give the Gulls the 7-0 lead and later the win.
Bulls starter Brett Getz took the loss after surrendering four runs on two hits, striking out six and walking five batters.
Joshua Tucker got the win on the mound for the Gulls, as he went six innings where he gave up no runs on four hits, struck out eight batters and walked two batters.
The Bulls host the Okotoks Dawgs tonight for a doubleheader, which will be seven innings games, that begin at 5:30 p.m.
