The Lethbridge Val Matteotti Golden Hawks U15AAA hockey team gained a split with a couple of divisional foes over the weekend.
Lethbridge suffered a 5-2 loss to the Calgary NorthStars on Saturday on the road.
Jack Edmonds and Jaxon Kraemer scored for the Hawks in the defeat.
Cason McFadden kicked out 19-of-24 shots for Lethbridge.
The Hawks flew to a 5-1 home win over the Okotoks Oilers on Friday night at Nicholas Sheran.
Lethbridge began the game with two powerplay goals in between the 15-and 19-minute mark from Edmonds and Hayden Charlesworth to get out to a 2-0 lead.
Lethbridge got three straight goals by the halfway point of the second period from Charlesworth, Wyatt Watson and Hayden Eldridge to increase their lead to 5-0.
Okotoks got a goal from Quinn Dievert at the 14:07 mark of the middle frame to finish up the scoring in the game.
Taj Grover made 33 saves for the Golden Hawks in the win.
The Golden Hawks are 2-4 on the season.
U17AAA
The Lethbridge Headwater Hurricanes dropped their only game of the weekend 7-1 to the Red Deer North Star Chiefs.
Pearson Sokoloski scored the lone goal for the Canes while Oliver Skog saved 54-of-61 shots in the defeat for the Canes.
U18AAA
The U18AAA Hurricanes dropped a pair of one-goal games to Red Deer at home over the weekend.
The Canes first fell 3-2 in overtime on Saturday and followed that with a 2-1 loss on Sunday at Nicolas Sheran Arena.
Keagan Grant scored for Lethbridge on Sunday while Dawson Spence scored both goals on Saturday.
Kayden Van Ham stopped 32-of-35 on Saturday and 24-of-26 shots on Sunday for Lethbridge.
Lethbridge is 1-6-0-2 on the season.
