The Grand Slam of Curling series is going international for the first time.
The Curling Group CEO Nic Sulsky says the five-event circuit will make its first visit to the United States during the 2025-26 season.
Host city and bonspiel dates for the 2025-26 season are expected to be released over the next few weeks.
But Sulsky confirms in an interview with The Canadian Press that the circuit will definitely hold one event south of the border next season.
He says dates for all competitions are locked in and four of the five host cities have been finalized.
The Grand Slam series, which made its debut in 2001, previously planned to hold an event in Las Vegas in January 2021 but it was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
