SARNIA, Ont. — Rene Van Bommel and Sam O’Reilly both scored hat tricks as the London Knights routed the Sarnia Sting 9-0 on Sunday in the Ontario Hockey League.

Van Bommel added an assist and Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Easton Cowan provided four helpers for London.

Kasper Halttunen had a goal and three assists while Blake Montgomery and Noah Read also scored as everybody ate on offence.

Netminder Aleksei Medvedev stopped 28 shots to post a shutout.

O’Reilly — an Edmonton Oilers prospect — boosted his season goal total to 26.

Sting goalie Nick Surzycia allowed six goals on 20 shots before getting pulled. Evan Maillet stopped 12 of 15 shots in relief.

ST. CATHARINES — Joey Willis knocked in the game-winning goal at 1:02 in overtime as the Kingston Frontenacs edged the Niagara IceDogs.

Jacob Battaglia, Matthew Soto and Ben Pickell also scored for Kingston. Frontenacs goaltender Charlie Schenkel kicked out 28 of 31 shots.

Ivan Galiyanov, Mathieu Paris and Noah Van Vliet replied for Niagara. IceDogs goaltender Hayden Jeffery stopped 41 of 45 shots.

KITCHENER, Ont. — Christian Humphreys scored the game-winning goal at 5:32 of the third period as the Kitchener Rangers edged the Guelph Storm.

Luca Romano, Jack Pridham and Adrian Misaljevic also scored for Kitchener. Rangers netminder Jason Schaubel saved 33 of 36 shots.

Charlie Paquette, Lev Katzin and Alex McLean replied for Guelph. Storm goaltender Zachary Jovanovski stopped 21 of 25 shots.
