Kerri Einarson of Gimli, Man., was also eliminated after dropping a 9-6 decision to Japan’s Sayaka Yoshimura.
In other quarterfinals, Japan’s Momoha Tabata topped Seung-youn Ha of South Korea 7-6 in an extra end and Switzerland’s Silvana Tirinzoni beat China’s Wang Rui 7-4.
