Scottie Barnes’ triple-double, record 25 boards lift Raptors past Warriors in overtime

TORONTO (AP) — Scottie Barnes scored 23 points, matched a Raptors franchise record with a career-high 25 rebounds and added 10 assists for his seventh career triple-double as Toronto beat the Golden State Warriors 141-127 in overtime on Sunday.

Immanuel Quickley scored 27 points, Brandon Ingram had 26 and Ja’Kobe Walter added a season-high 18 for the Raptors, who snapped a five-game home losing streak.

Stephen Curry scored 14 of his 39 points in the third quarter but didn’t score in overtime. Draymond Green had 21 and Jimmy Butler added 19 but it wasn’t enough for the Warriors.

Barnes matched Bismack Biyombo’s 2016 franchise record for rebounds in a game. The triple-double was his first of the season.

Raptors forward RJ Barrett returned from a 15-game absence to score 12 points in 24 minutes.

Toronto scored 35 points off 21 Golden State turnovers, the most by a Warriors opponent this season. Golden State allowed 34 points off turnovers in a Nov. 19 loss at Miami.

THUNDER 129, 76ERS 104

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Chet Holmgren had 29 points and nine rebounds, and Oklahoma City pulled away in the second half for a victory over Philadelphia, ending a two-game skid.

Holmgren made 12 of 17 shots, including 2 of 4 from 3-point-range, for Oklahoma City (27-5), which was coming off consecutive losses to the San Antonio Spurs.

The Thunder shot 50 for 87 (57%).

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 27 points, five assists and two steals, and Jalen Williams added 14 points and six assists for the NBA-leading Thunder (27-5).

Gilgeous-Alexander made 10 of 13 field goals and shot 7 for 9 from the line before sitting out the fourth quarter. He scored at least 20 points for the 103rd consecutive game.

Tyrese Maxey scored 28 points, Quentin Grimes had 13 and former Oklahoma City star Paul George added 12 for Philadelphia (16-14), which played without injured starter Joel Embid (ankle). Philadelphia committed 23 turnovers leading to 31 Oklahoma City points.

WIZARDS 116, GRIZZLIES 112

WASHINGTON (AP) — Alex Sarr scored 20 points and blocked a career-best six shots to help Washington to a victory over Memphis.

CJ McCollum added 16 points for Washington (7-23), which earned its first back-to-back victories of the season and second win over Memphis in nine days. McCollum scored six in the fourth quarter.

The Wizards outrebounded the Grizzlies 54-42 and overcame 19 turnovers — eight alone by Bub Carrington. Washington’s Justin Champagnie had 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Jaren Jackson Jr. scored 31 points and Ja Morant added 21 for Memphis (15-17), which failed to reach the .500 mark for the first time since the Grizzlies were 3-3 following a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Oct. 31.

TRAIL BLAZERS 114, CELTICS 108

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Shaedon Sharpe scored 26 points including 5 of 8 from 3-point range and Portland snapped a three-game losing streak with a win over Boston.

Deni Avdija added 24 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds for the Blazers, Toumani Camara scored 20 points, and Donovan Clingan had 18 points and 18 rebounds. Caleb Love added 18 points off the bench.

The Celtics, whose four-game winning streak was snapped, were led by Jaylen Brown with 37 points on 14 of 23 shooting. It was Brown’s ninth game in a row with 30 or more points, tying Larry Bird for the franchise record of consecutive 30-plus point games. Paul Pierce is third with seven.

Anfernee Simons scored 13 points off the bench in his first game against his former team, but the Celtics shot 43% overall and 29% (13 of 45) from 3-point range.

Rookie Hugo Gonzalez also scored 13 points for Boston.
