Vancouver Canucks place forward Marco Rossi on injured reserve

VANCOUVER — The Vancouver Canucks placed forward Marco Rossi on injured reserve Friday and recalled forward Arshdeep Bains from Abbotsford of the American Hockey League.

Rossi is out with a lower-body injury. The IR move was retroactive to last Tuesday.

The 24-year-old centre has 15 points (5-10) in 25 games with the Canucks and Minnesota Wild this season.

Bains, from Surrey, B.C., has a goal and five assists in 26 games with Vancouver this season.

He has three goals and three assists in five games with Abbotsford.

The moves were made before the Canucks faced the visiting Seattle Kraken on Friday night.
