MILAN — Canadian speedskater Ivanie Blondin has won a silver medal in the women’s mass start at the Milan Cortina Games.
The 35-year-old from Ottawa was also a silver medallist in the event in 2022.
It was Blondin’s second medal of the 2026 Winter Olympics.
Blondin, Valérie Maltais and Isabelle Weidemann won gold in women’s team pursuit.
Blondin produced Canada’s fifth speedskating medal in Milan.
Maltais fell at the beginning of the mass start race, but recovered to place fifth.
