The Lethbridge Bulls returned to the win column with double-digit vengeance Sunday afternoon.
The Bulls headed to Medicine Hat to face the Mavericks during Western Major Baseball League action, posting a convincing 14-2 decision.
Lethbridge shortstop Trace Hansen enjoyed a stats afternoon, going 4-for-6 with five runs scored, four RBI, his second home run of the season as well as a double and a triple.
The win comes a little over 12 hours after a 5-4 loss to the Okotoks Dawgs Saturday night halted the Bulls winning streak at five games.
With Sunday’s win the Bulls improve to a league-best 26-8.
The Bulls got off to a 4-0 lead in the first as Cody Stewart scored on a Jacob Caples single, Brandon Bufton scored on a walk, and Mitch Dornblut and Caples crossed on a Ryan Pidhaichuk single.
Lethbridge added two more runs in the fourth inning and added three in the fifth and sixth innings before adding one more in the eighth.
In addition to Hansen, Stewart and Bufton also had four-hit outings with the players batting in the Bulls top-three spots.

Dornblut was 2-for-4 with one run scored and two RBI, while left fielder Josh Day was 2-for-5 with an RBI.
After Bulls starter Andrew Grieder went two and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs on three hits, walking four and striking out one, reliever Clark Grisbrook came on and pitched the next six and one-third innings to earn the win.
The pitcher who hails from North Vancouver, B.C., who also earned the win in the Bulls 9-7 win over the Moose Jaw Miller Express Thursday night at Spitz Stadium allowed no runs on two hits, walking one and striking out three.
