BILD hands out annual housing awards at gala

BILD Lethbridge Region presented its annual awards for excellence in housing on Feb. 10 at the Coast Hotel.
BILD – the Building Industry & Land Development Association – is the hub for residential construction news, events and education here. It provides member businesses with the information and support they need to stay on top of emerging trends, safety, technical and government regulations.
BILD is a member-based non-profit organization incorporated in 1982 that strives to enhance the residential construction industry through local initiatives, partnerships, education and municipal lobbying actives.
The association presented numerous awards Friday and inducted into its Hall of Fame a new member, Keith Broadbent of KB Heating and Air Conditioning.
The Hall of Fame Award is the highest honour given by the association and is presented to an individual who has not only been a long-standing member of the association but an individual who has pioneered initiatives, set standards, and has gone above and beyond what is expected to support both industry issues as well as the broader community. The Hall of Fame recipient is considered an industry leader, mentor and true ambassador for the association and all things related to growing great communities.
