From LPS:
Lethbridge Police are investigating an apparent homicide following an incident at a west side home Thursday night.

On February 6, 2020 just after 10:30 p.m. police responded to a report of a shooting at a residence along the 200 block of University Drive West. Upon arrival, officers located the body of a 35-year-old male inside the home.

Preliminary investigation by members of the Criminal Investigation Section have determined this was not a random incident and the individuals involved are known to one another. Officers remain on scene at the home along University Drive and police are also on scene at a second residence along Henderson Lake Boulevard. There is no evidence to suggest any ongoing risk to neighbours or the public at either location.

The male’s body will be transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Calgary for an autopsy later today.

Investigation is ongoing and no further information will be released at this time.

More to come.
