LETHBRIDGE HERALD

Lethbridge Police have charged a 28-year-old Lethbridge woman in connection with a robbery.

On Sunday at approximately 8:15 p.m. a female with her face masked entered Friday’s Liquor along the 200 block of 13 Street North. She proceeded to take multiple bottles of liquor, then leave the store. When she was confronted by the female clerk, she punched the employee in the face before fleeing on foot.

A K9 track by PSD Zap was conducted and led to a group of people – including the suspect – a short distance away. The female was arrested without further incident.

Sharise Marie-Ann Smith, 28, of Lethbridge, is charged with robbery, disguised with intent and breach of a release order. Smith was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court June 25.
