Gujarati Society raises support to help during pandemic

The Gujarati Society of Lethbridge and Area’s recent fundraiser has resulted in donations to support those working to help during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Members of the society helped raise enough funds to be able to contribute donations of $2,000 to the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization’s Meals on Wheels program and $1,000 towards provincial COVID support, as well as a Friday lunch donation of dozens of pizzas from the westside Panago Pizza to feed local Canadian Mental Health Association volunteers and crisis workers.
