St. Catherine School in Picture Butte listed under outbreak status

The Holy Spirit Catholic School Division has been notified of two additional cases of COVID-19 at St. Catherine School in Picture Butte. With the additional confirmed cases St. Catherine School is considered to be under a school outbreak status.
The divisions says that for both schools, all close contacts have been informed of the situation and are required to isolate while following the directives provided by Alberta Health Services.
As of Wednesday, the division has ten active cases across three school sites (Ecole St. Mary, St. Catherine, and Catholic Central High – which was listed under outbreak last week) requiring the isolation of approximately 180 staff and students.
