Snow Day closures update

By Herald on November 9, 2020.

Lethbridge Herald

The winter storm that blew through the region has resulted in numerous closures throughout Lethbridge and area.

Both the Lethbridge School Division and Holy Spirit School Division (the latter of which was already scheduled to be closed) are closed for Monday, as well as surrounding school divisions including Palliser, Livingstone, Westwind and Horizon.

The University of Lethbridge campus will be closed Monday, though the university indicates this should have minimal impact on classes considering the closure occurs during the fall reading week break.

Lethbridge College is moving all classes online Monday and is urging students and employees to avoid coming to campus.

The City of Lethbridge has been working at plowing Priority 1 routes and clearing plugged areas including Paradise Canyon, Legacy Ridge and near Cavendish in the Industrial Park. Bridge Drive remains closed.

Transit service has been reduced and Access-A-Ride is operating for essential travel only.
