Lethbridge police are seeking public assistance to identify a man wanted in connection with an assault on a coffee shop employee.
The incident occurred on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020 shortly after the Tim Hortons location in the 400-block of 13 Street North opened at 5 a.m. Staff  said a man entered the building, sat down at a table and then appeared to fall asleep.
Police says after an employee repeatedly informed him he could not sleep in the restaurant, she asked him to leave the store. As he got up to leave, the subject is alleged to have punched the employee in the face, causing swelling and damage to her dental work.
An image of the man was obtained from the business security video. Anyone with information about the subject is asked to call police at 403-328-4444 or Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-8477. Anonymous tips can also be submitted online at http://www.p3tips.com
