In an effort to optimize staffing and enhance public health and safety during the holiday season, the City of Lethbridge is temporarily closing public access to city hall from Dec. 28 to Jan. 4.
Residents will be asked to access the City’s online services or call Lethbridge 311 rather than visiting city hall during this time. Anyone with urgent city hall business can call Lethbridge 311 during business hours to inquire about booking an appointment with the required department.
All non-essential City services will be closed on Dec. 25, Dec. 28 and Jan. 1 as part of the statutory holiday schedule.
Residents with blue or black cart pickup on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1 will have their pickup day shifted to Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.
A full list on online City Services is available at http://www.lethbridge.ca/onlineservices. There are options to pay parking tickets, book recreation activities, book an inspection, review Transit schedules, renew dog licenses and more.
Water and sewer emergencies can be reported to our 24-hour trouble line by calling 311.
Most other administrative buildings remain closed to the public due to COVID-19. Employees who can work from home will continue to do so while employees who must work on-site will continue to follow all appropriate public health and safety measures.
