Police charge five in connection with aggravated assault

Lethbridge Police have charged five city men, with arrest warrants still out for three of them, in connection with an aggravated assault on Sept. 25.
Police were called to an early-morning disturbance at a trailer park in the 2700 block of Westside Drive West. Upon arrival, police located a 40-year- old male suffering from serious and life-threatening injuries. The investigation revealed the incident was targeted, and the victim and suspects were known to each other.
Nolan Shade, 24, is charged with aggravated assault and disguised with intent. He was released from custody to appear in court today. Lucas Lycar, 30, is charged with aggravated assault. He was released from custody to appear in court Jan. 8.
Cory Amyotte, 33, and Jesse Davidson, 26, are both charged with aggravated assault, disguised with intent and fail to comply with a release order. Hunter Nolte, 34, is charged with aggravated assault and disguised with intent. Arrest warrants have been issued for all three.
