Friday fire damages deck at Lakemount Boulevard home

Lethbridge Fire Department and Emergency Services responded to a residential fire in the 1200 Block of Lakemount Boulevard South in the early afternoon on Friday, Feb. 19.
Firefighters found the rear attached second floor deck on fire. 
Crews were able to quickly respond and extinguish the fire in progress on the deck, ultimately limiting fire and smoke damage to the residence.
A total of three stations responded to the fire with 22 crew.
There were no injuries reported and the total damages are estimated at $15,000.
Fire investigators determined the origin of the fire to be accidental.
