An arrest warrant has been issued for a man charged last year after police seized drugs from a southside hotel room.
Kyle Mitchell Saddleback of Calgary was scheduled to attend a hearing in Lethbridge provincial court last week, but when he never showed up, and his lawyer said she had lost contact with him, a warrant was issued.
Lethbridge police charged two men after significant quantities of methamphetamine and cocaine were seized Sept. 10, 2020, following a short-term investigation by members of the priority crimes unit. Police searched a southside hotel room and found about 163 grams of crack cocaine, 76 grams of methamphetamine and nearly $2,200 in cash. Two men were arrested without incident and police seized additional pre-packaged bags of meth and cocaine, and $1,000 cash. The drugs are estimated to be worth nearly $22,000.
Carmon Shane Deschamps, 33, of Maskwacis, and 34-year-old Saddleback were each charged with two counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of the proceeds of crime. Deschamps was represented by his lawyer during last week’s hearing, but adjourned until April 8.

Police should’ve made them consume all those drugs at once! Wouldn’t have to worry about “missing” his court date
