Target Hunger pick up set for Saturday

By Lethbridge Herald on June 11, 2021.

Our local food banks would like to remind citizens to place their Target Hunger donations outside at the front door for pickup tomorrow (Saturday) morning. Target Hunger is a city-wide food drive that will help to restock the shelves at both the Interfaith Food Bank and the LethbridgeFood Bank.
Simply gather your yellow bags with food and leave your donation on your doorstep for pick upon Saturday morning.
Please have donations outsideby10 a.m. as volunteers will attempt to pick up the bags between10 a.m. and noon.
We encourage every household to participate in Target Hunger on and to join us in trying to raise 50,000 pounds of food for our local food banks.
If by some oversight your bag is missed for pickup, or you’ve forgotten to put it out on time, you can drop off your donation at either food bank, or an alternative drop-off location including: Fairmont Safeway, Save On Foods (North and West) Sobey’s Uplands, Real Canadian Superstore & Real Canadian WholesaleClub, Troy’s No Frills, Simon’s No Frills, Cornerstone Funeral Home and Park Place mall.
Financial contributions will also be accepted online. Visit either food bank website to give via Canadahelps.org.
For more information on Target Hunger, please contact either local food bank or go to
