Pair accused of multiple criminal offences hope to resolve charges

A Lethbridge man and woman charged with multiple offences following a Crime Suppression Team investigation last year are seeking to resolve some of their charges when they return to court next week.
The matters were adjourned in Lethbridge provincial court on Thursday until Sept. 2.
On Mar. 24 of 2020 members of the Crime Suppression Team, Priority Crimes Unit and Patrols executed search warrants at a home along the 2900 block of 12 Avenue South, a detached garage along the 1000 block of 12 B Street South, a detached garage along Temple Boulevard and a vehicle. A male was arrested at the southside garage and a female at the residence. The searches resulted in the seizure of more than 450 grams of methamphetamine worth just over $27,000, nearly $1,000 worth of cocaine, over $3,400 in cash, drug paraphernalia, two conducted energy weapons, three brass knuckles, bear spray, an airsoft gun that looks like an assault rifle, a stolen snow blower, electronics and several used prepaid Visa cards.
Nicholas Stephen Galbraith, 33, of Lethbridge, is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, four counts of possession of a prohibited weapon contrary to an order, three counts of knowingly possessing a prohibited/restricted weapon, possession of stolen property under $5,000, possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000 and driving a motor vehicle without supervision.
Hope Victoria Ann Pogue, 23, of Lethbridge, is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of unauthorized possession of a prohibited/restricted weapon, possession of stolen property under $5,000 and possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000.
