Police seek armed bank robber

Herald photo by Al BeeberLethbridge police responded Tuesday afternoon to an armed robbery at a northside bank.
The investigation is ongoing into the armed robbery at the CIBC along the 500 block of 13 Street North.
Police say at approximately 4:15 p.m. a man entered the bank and brandished a firearm before fleeing northbound along 13 Street with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Multiple police vehicles responded and a canine unit was observed in front of the bank as police worked at the scene.
Police are asking anyone who was in the area between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. and may have dash cam footage, or business/residential surveillance video, to contact them at 403-328-4444 and reference file 23007842.

i suppose this is more newsworthy than the everyday of banks robbing us.
