The Lethbridge Police Service is asking the public for assistance identifying two males and a female in relation to a theft that took place at Park Place mall earlier this month.

LPS announced Friday the theft is of more than $4,000 worth of high-end sunglasses from the Sunglass Hat in Park Place mall.

According to the LPS, on Oct. 3 just after 7:30 p.m. police responded to a report of a theft at the Sunglass Hat in Park Place mall after two unknown males entered the store, each grabbed multiple pairs of designer sunglasses then left without paying.

The subjects were observed on CCTV walking in the mall with a female. The males exited the mall at the south entrance along 1 Avenue South then proceeded to the parking lot and entered the passenger doors of a newer model, dark coloured Kia Forte sedan.

The same subjects are also believed to be responsible for a similar theft of high-end sunglasses the same day at a store in Calgary.

Anyone who recognizes the individuals are asked to contact police at 403-328-4444 and reference file 23023502.

Anonymous online tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at www.p3tips.com. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest.
