It was another tough night for the Lethbridge Bulls in Sylvan Lake as they lost 14-4.
The Gulls scored 14 runs on 16 hits and the Bulls’ four runs came on 10 hits.
Adonis Bernal went 2-for-3 at the plate, scoring a run and batting in an RBI, while Nick Gravel went 2-for 4 with an RBI and a run scored for the Bulls.
Andrew Kithil took the loss for Lethbridge after pitching three innings, while giving up seven runs on eight hits and struck out four.
The Gulls’ Matty Fung had himself a night for the Gulls, going 3-for-5 and scoring two runs.
Marques Abulhosn went 2-for-3 while scoring four runs and hitting in an RBI and Cooper Ciesielski went 3-for-6 and hit in three RBIs and scored a run.
Zach Bowman took the win on the mound for the Gulls.
Lethbridge (8-9) play a doubleheader in Edmonton against the Prospects today beginning at 11 a.m.
Both teams will then wrap up the weekend with an afternoon game on Sunday.
