US paused bomb shipment to Israel to signal concerns over Rafah invasion, official says

(AP Photo/Ismael Abu Dayyah)WASHINGTON (AP) – The U.S. paused a shipment of bombs to Israel last week over concerns that Israel was approaching a decision on launching a full-scale assault on the southern Gaza city of Rafah against the wishes of the U.S., a senior administration official said Tuesday.
The shipment was supposed to consist of 1,800 2,000-pound bombs and 1,700 500-pound bombs, according to the official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the sensitive matter, with the focus of U.S. concern being the larger explosives and how they could be used in a dense urban setting. More than 1 million civilians are sheltering in Rafah after evacuating other parts of Gaza amid Israel’s war on Hamas, which came after the militant group’s deadly attack on Israel on Oct. 7.
President Joe Biden’s administration in April began reviewing future transfers of military assistance to Israel as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government appeared to move closer toward an invasion of Rafah, despite months of opposition from the White House. The official said the decision to pause the shipment was made last week and no final decision had been made yet on whether to proceed with the shipment at a later date.
The State Department is separately considering whether to approve the continued transfer of Joint Direct Attack Munition kits, which place precision guidance systems onto bombs, to Israel, but the review didn’t pertain to imminent shipments.

The US has a long list of civilians killed from their military operations, but after all, it is an election year!
If all else fails Israel is a nuclear armed country! Israel has shown restraint and no other military in the world has ever warned civilians that of where they will be conducting military strikes being the operation so civilians are given the chance to move to safety.

The war on social media has never been more prevalent, so bad that I cannot believe anything I read on the Ukraine war, and it is getting very hard to believe many media outlets on the Gaza war!
Associated Press, CBC, BBC, Al Jazeera, the Canadian Press and many more all are biased in favour of the terrorists.
The UN is one responsible for this war! The UN is anti-West, anti-Semitic, and are now under the influence of China, Russia and the Arab League!
As we have heard screamed by pro-Palestinians in New York on Campuses, “death to America” but no one understands that they do not just want the Jews dead, but all us Western Infidels in the West!
Biden will do anything to win the election, and his actions have fueled the anti-semitic movements and ruined the cease fire talks!
Hamas has promised attacks like Oct 7th over and over and over until no Jews are alive! They are funded by Qatar, the Muslim Brotherhood and Iran!
Iran has stated over and over again the Jews (Little Satan) must be annihilated as well as the US (Great Satan). Why did Biden release $10 billion to Iran when they are building nuclear weapons to take our Israel and the US? I guess the Israelis will have to shut down Iran’s nulcear facility in strikes since no one else is standing with Israel.
