(Block 18, Lot 1, Plot’s 7 & 8 west) (Directions – In front gate to top of “T” intersection, turn right – one block up) All are welcome.
A formal Memorial Service of Thanksgiving and Celebration of Harry’s life will be held in PICTURE BUTTE at the CORNERSTONE COMMUNITY CHURCH (1 block North of Scotia Bank) held at 7:00 P.M., Pastor Pete Coyne, Celebrant – refreshments to follow in the parish hall. All are welcome.

CHARLESWORTH
Stephanie Margaret Charlesworth, beloved wife of the late Arthur (Art) Charlesworth, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at the age of 91.
Stephanie was born on June 9th 1922 on a farm north of Foremost to Kenneth and Jean Dorren.  In the late 1920’s, Stephanie’s family moved to the farm just northwest of Picture Butte.  There she attended Twelve Mile School and Picture Butte High School. Stephanie lived on the family farm then lived with her brother George in Picture Butte until marrying Art on February 14, 1947. Together they farmed in the Barhill area for 45 years.  In 2002, Art and Stephanie left the farm and moved into Lethbridge.
Stephanie is survived by her 8 children – Ken (Eleanor), Duane (Val), Marilyn (Sam) Perverseff, Lorne, Ross (Wendy), Allan, Eleanor Robertson, Sherri (Tim) Hall; 13 grandchildren – Darren (Deanna), Jason (Michelle), Joel (Amanda), Carrie (Trevor), Scott, Jamie (Derek), Brian, Alex (Mike), Sara , Coleby, Brad, Stephanie Ryan;  8 great-grandchildren – Jasmine, Cailey,  Eddie, Haylie, Ben, Hayden, Robbie, Owen.
She is also survived by her 3 brothers in-law: Ron (Carol) Charlesworth, Ron Keith and George Meuller,  sister in-law Val Charlesworth and numerous nephews, nieces and their families.  She is predeceased by sisters Pearl, Blanche and Doris and brothers, George and Raymond.
A Memorial Service will be held at the McKILLOP UNITED CHURCH, 2329-15 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB, on Thursday, November 7, 2013, at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Trevor Potter officiating.

HOEKSTRA, John Louis
John Louis Hoekstra, age 81, passed away peacefully in White Rock, B.C. on September 23, 2013. He leaves behind his sister, Elaine Hoeve in Oregon. John will be sadly missed by his daughter, Kathlyn Saliani (Dom) and his son, Mark Hoekstra (Kelly Rankine) both of Calgary. “Grandad by the Beach” will be sorely missed by his two granddaughters Lisha Saliani (Mike) and Stacey Hohman (Tyler) and by Stacey’s two sons Zack and Cole. John was predeceased by his parents, Reverend Peter and Hattie Hoekstra. John spent his last 32 years in White Rock, B.C. where he enjoyed viewing the beautiful ocean from his balcony. MR. PERCY KOVALUK, beloved husband of Mrs. Delores Kovaluk of Lethbridge, passed away suddenly at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at the age of age of 82 years.
He leaves behind his beloved wife and best friend Delores of 61 years, along with his four children Perry (Marg), Colleen (Peter), Melaney (Neal), and Dwayne (Michelle). He is also survived by his grandchildren Nicole and Nathan.
Percy enjoyed hunting and fishing and more than anything he loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed by his family.

Violet Pickering
1915-2013
It is with great sadness and loving memories, that we announce the passing of our dear mother Violet Pickering. Mom passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, October 31, 2013, at the age of 97.
Violet is survived by her daughters Mabel Harrold, Laura (Lorne) McGowan, Elsie (Art) Friesen, Maxine (Gary) McKinnon; sons Howard, Harry, Gary, Glen, Norman, Dean (Terry) along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Violet was predeceased by her husband Henry, two sisters Mary and Harriet, and her four brothers, Jim, Wilf, Cliff and Charlie.
She was a devoted mother who cared for and loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was resilient, selfless and always concerned about those close to her. She had a great sense of humor and provided our family with many laughs. We will forever carry her in our hearts.
At Violet’s request a private family service will be held at a later date.
