ALDRIDGE
26 March, 1943 to 02 July, 2014
We are sad to announce the passing of Jerry Winfield Aldridge on 02 July, 2014 at the Lethbridge Regional
Hospital. Jerry was predeceased by his wife, Venita (Wescott) Aldridge. He was cared for with love during
his last years by his step children Chris, Jim and Mike. He will be sadly missed by all.
Jerry was born on 26 March, 1943 in Cardston, Alberta to Frank and Oneta (Archibald) Aldridge.
Jerry had a full life working hard. Jerry was an oilfield Consulting Engineer, which took him to all
parts of the world from the Arctic to South America to Libya, and having met such people as Omar Khadafi
and Yassar Arafat. He was well liked on all oil derricks he has managed and that included his travelling
companion Saddie, his dog. When not working he enjoyed camping, fishing, boating and being with the
people he loved. He will be sadly missed by the people who loved him most, but his memories will always
be cherished and in our hearts.
Jerry has requested that there be no funeral and Cremation has taken place. A private family function
will occur at a later date in honor of his memory.

SCHRADER
KEITH CALVIN SCHRADER, beloved husband of Yoshi Schrader of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook
Regional Hospital on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the age of 81 years.
Besides his loving wife, he is survived by two sisters LaRayne Carroll of North Vancouver, BC and Marlene
Johnson of Ontario, one brother Neil Schrader of Vancouver, BC, as well as numerous nieces and nephews,
including one special niece Kimball Fletcher and her children of North Vancouver, BC. Keith is also
survived by two children from a previous marriage.
He was predeceased by his parents Lilah and John Schrader, one brother Owen and one son Russell.
Keith was born August 31, 1932 in Rimbey, AB. He was raised and educated in Calgary. Keith enjoyed
working in many places but spent over 40 years in the Yukon and part of those years as Housing Supervisor
for the Yukon Government along the Alaska Highway, as well as a self employed contractor.
Keith was easily recognizable by his handle bar moustache and his great sense of humor. He will be fondly
remembered and sadly missed.

ELEANORA VOGT nee Madsen, beloved wife of Bill Vogt of Picture Butte, passed away at the Chinook Regional
Hospital on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the age of 88 years.
Besides her loving husband she is survived by her five children and their families, whom she loved
dearly: Grant (Echo) Vogt; Greg (Elaine) Vogt; Terry (Pam) Vogt; Suzanne (Darren) McIntosh; Sherryl (Ed)
Loman and her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren: Lisa (Mark) Potvin (Amber & Aiden), Tiger
(Kurt) Vogt, Errol Vogt; Hillary (Ali & Naveed) Norouzi, Colleen (Brandon) Chow, Sheena (Jason & Eloise)
LeMoine, Kyle (Cortney) Vogt, Samara (Jordan) McIntosh, Nikki McIntosh, Justin (Ashley) Loman, Jocelyn
(Frank) Loman, and Luke Loman – as well as her special nephew Loren Montgomery (Janice & Jenna).
Eleanora was predeceased by her parents Chris and Sophia Madsen, brother Bob, sister Elene and numerous
brother and sister in-laws.
Mrs. Eleanora Christine Vogt, beloved wife of Mr. Bill Vogt, was born in Drumheller, Alberta; the
youngest of Chris and Sophia Madsen’ 3 children. She grew up on a farm in the Danish community of Dalum,
5 miles south of Wayne, Alberta, which is now a ghost mining town. Eleanora spent grades 1-9 in a one
room country school. Grades 10 & 11 were spent in Drumheller and grade 12 and normal school in Calgary.
Her first teaching position was in a one room school near Drumheller. The next year was at Crystal lake
School near Lethbridge, where she met Bill. Eleanora then taught a year in Nobleford as a Grade 2
Teacher. She spent the remainder of her teaching career in Picture Butte, at Dorothy Dalgliesh School for
two years and then at St. Catherine’s school until she retired in 1988. She was beloved by her students,
many of who commented that “Mrs. Vogt” was their favorite teacher.
Bill and Eleanora eloped in Great Falls in 1948 and moved from Lethbridge to Picture Butte in 1951 where
they both resided until Eleanora’s passing.
A Tree will be planted in Eleanora’s memory at a later date. Her kind and generous spirit will be carried
on in all of the people whose lives she touched.

 Rhonda Kay Rogers, beloved wife of Bill Rogers of Foremost, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday,
July 4, 2014 at the age of 60 years.

 She was predeceased by her parents Harold and Josephine Street, niece Cynthia Baker and brother-in-law
Ray Hammel.
 Rhonda was born April 12, 1954. She started school in Etzikom, then graduated from Foremost High School.
Rhonda then started her career in banking, first in Foremost and then Brooks where she lived from 1988 to
2006. After rekindling their old romance, Rhonda and Bill were married in 2008, making their home in
Foremost. Rhonda loved working in her yard, and also loved to cook for the family. She enjoyed her time
spent volunteering in various organizations and helping others. Her faith life was important to her.
Rhonda will be sadly missed by family and friends in Brooks and Foremost.
